John Fox Place wins NAIOP Affordable Housing Development of the Year Award

We are thrilled to announce that John Fox Place has been honored with the prestigious NAIOP Affordable Housing Development of the Year award. This recognition highlights the project’s exceptional contribution to affordable housing and its positive impact on the community.

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) is a leading trade association for commercial real estate professionals. NAIOP’s mission is to advance the commercial real estate industry through education, research, advocacy, and networking. This award underscores the importance of innovative and sustainable development in addressing housing needs.

Located in Seattle’s Licton Springs neighborhood, John Fox Place is a seven-story, mid-block development that brings 104 new affordable homes to the Aurora Avenue corridor. This project is designed to serve low-income families and individuals, including those exiting homelessness, providing them with a safe and comfortable place to call home.

A key feature of John Fox Place is its use of VPI Quality Windows’ Endurance Series, which ensures durability and energy efficiency. These high-performance windows contribute to the building’s overall sustainability, providing comfort and style to residents while reducing energy costs.

John Fox Place is more than just a housing development; it’s a vibrant community hub. The building features family-focused amenities and common spaces that create a welcoming “storefront” presence along Aurora Avenue. Residents can enjoy a sheltered all-ages courtyard, bike rooms on each floor, and a top-floor patio with sweeping southward views. These thoughtful design elements foster a sense of community and belonging among residents.

Contact us today if you’d be interested in partnering and adding our Endurance Window Series to your next project!
